DESIGN:
Design shall withstand 25-PSI internal pressure and 15-PSIG external pressure (full vacuum) and
shall meet all the requirements of Section VIII Division 1 of the A.S.M.E. Boiler and Pressure
Vessel Code. National Board Registered. Tank to be designed and constructed in full
compliance with Department of Transportation Specification DOT407/412.

PRIMARY SHUT-OFF: Quick opening hatch with 9" SS float ball seating against a neoprene seat, ball and seat inspection and service is external.
BAFFLE: One (1) anti-surge mounted on reinforcing pad.
RINGS: Circumferential reinforcement rings with tank support feet.
OVERTURN PROTECTION: Front, center and rear three (3) leg support and pads.
MANWAY: 20" diameter located top of tank.
LIQUID LEVEL INDICATOR: Stainless Steel construction rotary float gauge with 9" float ball assembly located on rear head.
REAR DOOR: Hydraulic full opening rear door assembly, neoprene rubber rear door gasket, dual cylinders and safety brace.
SUCTION VALVE: 4" Betts air operated valve with 4" sand pipe / deflector plate assembly, aluminum Kamlok fittings mounted on rear head.
DISCHARGE VALVE: 6" Betts air operated valve with aluminum Kamlok fittings mounted on rear head.
ISOLATION VALVE: Air operated butterfly valve between primary and secondary shut-off with PTO interconnect.
SECONDARY SHUT-OFF: Heavy duty external moisture trap with 5" stainless steel floatball, seating against a neoprene seat, 2" quick action drain valve and hose, moisture trap capacity 28 gallons.
MUFFLER: 4" muffler / oil trap assembly with drain valve, 12" swing out bottom clean out and 4" exhaust adapter.
PIPING: Continuously grounded, wire reinforced, neoprene vacuum / pressure hose, looped to rear, no
disconnecting required when dumping.
PUMP SPECIFICATIONS: Fruitland RCF500 air cooled vacuum / pressure pump, 350 CFM free air rating, 27" Hg maximum vacuum.
DRIVE: Hydraulically driven from air shift PTO mounted on transmission with hydraulic pump and motor.
HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR: Mounted on hydraulic dump sub-frame with suction strainer, diffuser, fill cap, hydraulic oil filters and sight glass.
HYDRAULIC DUMP SYSTEM: Full length hydraulic dump sub-frame with 20 ton, rear dump pivot assembly and safety brace.
HYDRAULIC CONTROLS: 3-spool valve body for control of hydraulic dump, rear door and vacuum pump.
GAUGES: Glycerin filled vacuum / pressure gauge and hydraulic pressure gauge.
SIDE TRAYS: Full-length side boxes for hose storage / fender assembly with anti-sail mud-flaps and rear tire skirt.
TRIM: Ladder assembly to top manway – anti skid material, four (4) numbered placards, 25' static line
and steel toolbox assembly.
LIGHTING: DOT lighting with three (3) lamp rear module assembly, clearance lamps, reflectors, three (3) in a row clearance markers, two (2) rear spotlights and one (1) rear amber rotating beacon.
BUMPER: DOT rear bumper for protection of external valves with platform / step assembly and rear dirt
shield.
PAINTING: The entire tank and body of the vacuum system shall be primed with two (2) coats of primer and painted with two (2) coats of single stage paint.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS INCLUDED: Interior of vacuum tank sandblasted and epoxy lined (Devoe Devchem 253).
